The Interior Architecture programme in the School of Housing, Building and Planning, Universiti Sains Malaysia is the art and science of visualizing interior ambiance and developing the interior environment. The design must be concerned with all aspects of the human uses, aesthetically appealing, technically sophisticated and fulfilling the needs of the clients. Interior architects need to be creative, innovative, imaginative and artistic. They also need to be disciplined, organized, skilled and scientifically inclined.

PROGRAM EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES (PEO)

Produce graduates with global mindset who are knowledgeable and technically competent to solve problems in interior architecture and other related disciplines
Nurture graduates with good leadership qualities and communication skills who are able to profesionally handle built environment projects be it independently or collaboratively as a team
Inspire graduates to focus on sustainability in aspects of research, practice, lifelong learning, and also entrepreneurship for their continuous advancement
