This event is purposely to gather all the young researchers, academics, students, and professional practitioners in relevant fields and to present their latest findings on their research and practice. Besides, it is to discuss on current issues and problem in industry faced in local and international region. This competition will be divided into this sub-theme:

Drone & remote sensing in surveying, Development, by-laws, building control, pathology, defects, condition assessment, inspection, building performance, legal, POE

• Similarity index must not exceed 20% (excluding references)
• All submissions will be checked using plagiarism detection software
• Papers with excessive similarity will be rejected without review

• Full paper submission is a MUST and submitted on 28 August 2026
• Presentation slides format: Power point, keynote or equivalent
• Duration of presentation: 3 minutes
• Recommended presentation slides: Not more than 10
• Medium of language: English
• For virtual category, oral presentations should be provided as a pre-recorded video.

Poster Category

• Full paper submission is a MUST and submitted on 28 August 2026
• The poster must be in one (1) page. Additional pages will not be accepted.
• The poster must include title of research, name(s), affiliations, logo of affiliations (to be positioned at the left corner of poster) and UM sign-off (to be positioned at the right corner of poster)
• Orientation: Portrait or landscape
• Size: A1 (594mm x 841mm or 23.39" x 33.11")
• Recommended font sizes (Title >72pt, Headings 30-60pt, Text 16-24pt)
• For virtual category, softcopy of the poster must be submitted to the secretariat before the deadline.
