Undergraduate Programmes

At HBP, we offer seven undergraduate programmes with unique curricula towards ensuring our graduates are industry ready. Accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) as well as with professional bodies of each discipline such as the Board of Architects Malaysia, the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia, Board of Engineers Malaysia, Malaysian Institute of Planners and Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE), we strive to provide the balance between academic focus and professional requirements.

What makes us unique?

All of our programmes are industry integrated through collaboration in teaching, site visits, critique sessions as well as field works. These fill the gaps between theoretical knowledge and actual practice situations and ensure our graduates become industry-driven assets, able to hit the ground running upon graduation as well as realising the expectations of industry.

HBP is known to expose our students to different environments and contexts through various international trips and Study Abroad Programmes through mutual collaboration with our prestigious academic partners abroad. These experiences are mind-opening, perspective-broadening, culture-enriching, and technology-learning while at the same time, enable the building of new networks with refreshed outlooks.

Also, nothing can beat the campus life at HBP and USM. With the tagline “Everything is Better at USM”, various on-campus activities are offered to students such as Architecture Week, FUSE Interaction Night, International Cultural Fiesta and many more that will undoubtedly make the campus experience a truly unforgettable one!

And finally, the ‘Studio system’ that so uniquely set us apart from our counterparts. With seven distinct programmes at HBP, studios offer real interactions and ‘live’ stimulation of knowledge where interdisciplinary programmes exchange ideas, concepts and postulations through assignments and common projects, all primarily driven by students themselves.

Join us! An awesome journey awaits…be part of it!
