Dr. Ruhizal Roosli is a senior lecturer at the School of Housing, Building and Planning, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). He was elected a MOHE Post-Doctoral Fellow at the School of Arts and Social Sciences, Monash University. He has worked in the private sector as well as non-governmental organisations, completing numerous successful projects (refer CV). He teaches mixed approaches and application of quantitative & qualitative research methods. Research focuses on how people have and will produce better settlement in normal and emergency situation, addressing the sustainable development and climate change challenges. Main current research & teaching areas are:
